A Happy Day

Today was Colton's 24th birthday. I ran to the Urban Market and stocked up on decorations and cake mix (there wasn't a large selection). He was so surprised! As soon as he got home we had to go to get his license renewed and to make a long story short, we left after two hours with no renewed license. It was a bust. But the cake we had once we got back made up for the quite annoying events at the DPS.

Now I will finish my night looking online for craft inspiration and watching trash TV while Colton reminds me of the nerd I fell in love with as he spends his extra time working on a PCB circuit board. Got to love his hobbies.

Pretty in Pink?

Happy Valentine's Day! Ironically I tend to not be a huge fan of pink but it is the day of love, so today I am feeling pink. The Fiance and I celebrated Valentine's early on Friday. He surprised me with a dinner at Dallas Chop House and then to the Dallas Symphony. Such a very "classy" date for us but so sweet and thoughtful. Hope you have a wonderful day of love.

Finally booked our Honeymoon

We are going to PORTLAND, OR

It has been a long time coming, our trip to Portland that is. And I am so excited we are staying at The Ace Hotel. Any ideas of things we must do?

Don't buns work?

Throughout college I have learned a few things (or at least I hope so) but the number one thing I have learned is putting my hair in a bun at the top of my head equals less time getting ready. I know it isn't exactly the cutest thing ever but comfort is the most important thing at this point in my life. My mom hates that I do this and finally my fiance told me it's time to get over "the bun".

My hair is so long that I just don't know what to do with it. I guess I really need a trim or something so that I will start to wear my hair down like a normal person and try to look presentable seeings that I am about to graduate and join the "real world".

What do you think? bun or no?

It's time for an update

I haven't posted on my blog in quite a while. A lot of things have been happening and changing and it is time to update my blog.

I got engaged on June 24, 2010 to Colton Cummings, my biggest fan, best friend, and the love of my life. We will be married on April 9, 2011. It will be such a sweet time.

I also am a student at Texas A&M University and FINALLY got my Aggie ring. It was about time as I am graduating this December....hopefully (which i better)!!

Now I am going to get back into the habit of posting on my blog.

I'll have one of each please

Who could ever choose a ring out of these they are all beautiful together...so I think i'll just take one of each.

Can I have him please?

I am not sure if there is a cuter little boy than this...

Children's Bookshelf

I have a love for bookshelves, but especially this adorable children's bookshelf.  I have even started saving up for when I do have a child of my own and I can create them their own bookshelf.

Living room love

I have had an attachment to this image for a long time now.  Everything about it is perfect.  This is my inspiration for my first homes living room.

Ballet goes punk

Does it really get any better than these ballet shoes? I don't think so.  Looking back on my life if I could change one thing at all it would be that I wouldn't have quite ballet for gymnastics.  As I have grown up my love for the grace and elegance of a ballerina and ballet in general has grown immensely.  I was able to take a ballet class for my Kinesiology credit at college this past semester and it reminded me how much it means to me.  I know this may sound crazy but you know how some people speak and feel so much emotion through their art, well that is how I feel about ballet.  Although at almost 21 I realize my dream of becoming a professional ballerina is over I can still enjoy a class every now and then and these shoes I believe are a must in my ballet wardrobe.
